KeepThoughts for iOS
Terms of Use
Last updated September 2026
The agreement
KeepThoughts is an iPhone app published by Mashqur Habib Himel. Downloading or using it means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
The app is also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every app distributed on the App Store and can be read at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, Apple's takes precedence.
What the app is
KeepThoughts is a place to write down ideas, notes, memories, and the ordinary business of a day. Notes are stored on the device where you wrote them, and — with Premium's iCloud sync — in your own iCloud account.
Free use and advertising
KeepThoughts is free to download and supported by advertising through Google AdMob. The advertising service collects device identifiers, IP address, advertising ID, app usage metrics, and diagnostic information in order to deliver and measure ads, as set out in the privacy policy. The contents of your notes are never collected, shared, or used for advertising.
KeepThoughts Premium
KeepThoughts Premium adds iCloud sync, which keeps your notes current across the devices signed in to the same Apple Account. It is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system; the price and term are shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may vary by region.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Where Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription, it renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings — on your device, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the subscription remains active until the end of the period already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the developer. Requests are made at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What happens if Premium ends
Syncing stops and notes stay on the device where they were written. No note is ever deleted because a subscription lapsed, and the copies already in your iCloud account remain yours to manage through Apple.
iCloud
Notes synced with Premium are stored in your own iCloud account and handled by Apple under its terms. The developer has no access to your iCloud account and receives nothing from it. Availability of sync depends on Apple's service and on your iCloud storage.
Your content
The notes, thoughts, and journal entries you create are yours. The developer never collects, accesses, or receives their content, claims no rights over them, and never sells or shares them. Backing them up is your responsibility; deleting the app removes the notes stored on that device.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law or Apple's terms.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from its use, including notes that were lost from a device.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app changes. The current version always lives on this page, with the date at the top revised. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
