Introduction

KeepThoughts is a simple and private space to capture your ideas, notes, memories, and daily thoughts. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

What we collect

Nothing. KeepThoughts has no servers and no user accounts. We do not collect, receive, or store any information about you or your notes.

The notes, thoughts, and journal entries you create are stored on your device. With KeepThoughts Premium they are also stored in your own iCloud account — see the iCloud sync section below. Either way, we never see them.

What Google AdMob collects

KeepThoughts is free and supported by advertising through Google AdMob. AdMob is operated by Google, not by us, and may collect:

• Device identifiers and advertising ID
• IP address
• App usage information
• Diagnostic and performance information

This data goes to Google, is handled under Google's own privacy practices, and never includes the contents of your notes. We receive none of it.

How information is used

Information collected by Google AdMob is used to deliver advertisements, measure ad performance, and keep the app running reliably. It is not used to identify you personally, and the content of your notes is never part of it.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your notes with any third party. Advertising data is processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy practices. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect information stored within the application. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children's privacy

KeepThoughts is suitable for users of all ages. Third-party advertising services may collect data as described in this policy.

iCloud sync

iCloud sync is part of KeepThoughts Premium. With it, your notes are stored in your own iCloud account so they stay current across your devices. Without Premium, your notes remain on the device where you wrote them.

iCloud is operated by Apple, not by us. Notes synced this way are held in your personal iCloud storage and governed by the Apple Privacy Policy and Apple's iCloud terms. We have no access to the contents of your iCloud account and receive nothing from it.

Purchases

KeepThoughts Premium is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment, billing, and any refunds are handled entirely by Apple. The app asks Apple whether the current Apple Account holds a valid purchase and receives only a yes-or-no answer. We never see your name, email address, payment details, or Apple Account information.

Your rights

Your notes are stored on your device and, with Premium sync, in your own iCloud account, so you remain in control of them at all times. Deleting the app removes the notes stored on that device; notes already synced remain in your iCloud account until you remove them there. Advertising preferences can be managed in your device settings.
